Transform the front of your house, flat, doorway, balcony, roof terrace or business with some Flower Pot Fairy magic.  At Flower Pot Fairy we offer bespoke flower pots and window boxes, predominantly in the North London area.  The service includes a full consultation where we can share our expertise on choosing flowers and colour schemes as well as what size and style of planter to go for. 

Once these have been agreed all work is carried out offsite to minimise mess and disruption.  .  (Or if pots or planters are particularly large or it is not possible to move them, we can look into planting onsite.) All pots & planters are prepped beforehand.  Planters are given drainage holes and are then filled with a good quality fortified soil enriched with slow release plant food to assist with the ongoing maintenance of the plants. Clay feet or window box trays to protect sills / aid drainage are also available on request.  On completion, planters are hand delivered and positioned

Flower Pot Fairy will share the names of all the plants in used in the making of their bespoke planter, with detail of all bulbs when presenting the Autumn ones.  Clear care instructions can also be shared at this point!

We most widely use frost resistant terracotta window boxes and planters, glazed and unglazed. Fibre clay is also a good option as they are lightweight and come in a number of designs, often in a slate or wood effect.

Whilst Flower Pot Fairy can make and create flower pots & window boxes throughout the year, there are really two distinct seasons to consider when thinking about your planting. 

In the Autumn, planting will include winter flowering plants such as: wallflowers, winter flowering pansies, viola, cyclamen, trailing ivy, primroses, cineraria and primulas.  In addition to this will be bulbs that may include anything from dwarf narcissus, daffodils, snake head fritillary, crocus, dwarf iris and grape hyacinth.  Planters created in the autumn will offer greenery and colour throughout the winter before offering a firework explosion of bulb activity come the Spring.

Come April / May time, Flower Pot Fairy will be on hand to remove your now tired displays and replenish with colourful and exciting Summer bedding  that will provide lush colour and pleasure through until September time.  Summer bedding may include pansies, geraniums, petunia, diascia, trailing lobelia , cineraria & trailing ivy.

Larger ground pots may include hydrangea, heuchera and other summer bedding plants. Some of these larger shrubs & plants will over winter.

Gift or Special Occasion Pots 

Treat someone to a hand planted pot of colourful seasonal flowers that can be
created and hand delivered to most London postcodes for a small delivery fee

The price includes a hand made card with information, care instructions and your own personal message. Small pots are gift wrapped with paper and ribbon.
